Internship Program

General Description:

The Digital Content Creator will be working directly under the head of Corporate Communications and shall collaborate with internal teams, as well as other Digital Content Creators, across the full range of digital content projects. He/She will be working on multiple campaigns which will help fulfill the department’s objectives and the organization’s overarching goals of reaching a wider audience and promoting a positive public image towards its stakeholders.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Create highly engaging videos for multiple channel outputs, and create micro-content for distribution including, but not limited to, social media.

2. Develop storyboard and technical scripts, produce, execute and edit video and digital content to keep up with a fast-paced department schedule.

3. Plan, create, and distribute weekly social media photo and video content according to social media plan for ASA Ventures, its startups, and other related social platforms as required.

4. Work alongside internal teams to come up with inspiring, innovative ideas in line with current trends, ensuring that every brand under ASA Ventures is developed and consistently applied across a range of digital channels.

5. Proactively collaborate with other internal teams to develop clear briefs for projects, relating to the required design, imagery and production requirements, and execute from concept to completion.

6. Understand how to create content for targeted audiences and evaluate the performance of your output.

7. Prioritize tasks and deliver projects on time producing innovative, high-quality aesthetic works, ensuring it is delivered within budget and in-line with internal client expectations.

8. Assist with updating and managing the company’s library of images resources and digital/film assets.

9. Monitor and measure user engagement through analytics tools and gather insight for creating and revising the digital content plan.

10. Maintain the YouTube platform and design online community management activities to promote the company’s brand image.

11. Prepare clear and concise weekly and monthly reports and analysis for social media and website data.

12. Grow the YouTube follower base according to goals set by the head of Corporate Communications.

13. Document ASA’s activities by taking photos and videos in collaboration with the Production team.

14. Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, research, filing, writing correspondences, reaching out to third-party entities and assisting in event coverage.

15. Perform other Ad HOC tasks for events, other image building activities, and media outreach for the firm, as assigned by the Head of Corporate Communications.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, composition, digital media, web design, digital marketing and/or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

At least two years in communications (advertising, video prod, marketing, PR) and professional writing experience; two or more years of experience in web content creation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Expert writing, editing and proofreading skills as evidenced by clips or portfolio of past professional work, basic photo editing

- Proficient in social media content strategies (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), analytics, content management systems;

- Knowledge of the field of communications, particularly digital media

- Expert networking and interpersonal skills including strong consultative and persuasive skills to work with internal constituents.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

- Ability to juggle multiple assignments under shifting and tight deadlines

- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of communication, media and/or marketing theories and concepts, and keen understanding of culture in order to develop and execute communication strategies and plans to promote and position the firm and its startups

- Thorough knowledge of applicable copyright and other laws pertaining to publications and the news media- comprehensive knowledge of marketing and research techniques and methods.

- Ability to use market research to enhance the impact of communication strategies and campaigns
